बीस हजार पदों के लिए अप्रेल में प्रस्तावित तृतीय श्रेणी शिक्षक भर्ती में 60 फीसदी से कम अंक पर आरटेट उत्तीर्ण करने वाले हजारों अभ्यर्थियों को फिर "रीट" के माध्यम से पात्रता अर्जित करनी होगी। शिक्षा विभाग ने रविवार को भर्ती एवं पात्रता परीक्षा (रीट) पर स्थिति को साफ करते हुए कहा कि वष्ाü 2011 और 2012 में आरटेट उत्तीर्ण करने वाले साढे सात लाख अभ्यर्थियों में से 60 प्रतिशत या अधिक अंक अर्जित करने वाले अभ्यर्थी रीट के माध्यम से शिक्षक भर्ती की मेरिट में शामिल हो सकेंगे। 60 प्रतिशत से कम अंक पर आरटेट उत्तीर्ण करने वाले अभ्यर्थियों को फिर "रीट" देनी पड़ेगी।

शिक्षा राज्यमंत्री वासुदेव देवनानी का कहना है कि.....

परीक्षा से संबंधित नियम व प्रक्रियाओं को भी पारदर्शी बनाने को कहा गया है ताकि रीट के आयोजन में किसी प्रकार की बाधा उत्पन्न नहीं हो। शिक्षा राज्यमंत्री वासुदेव देवनानी का कहना है कि पंचायती राज अधिनियम/नियमों में वांछित संशोधन के लिए कार्रवाई होने तक माध्यमिक शिक्षा बोर्ड द्वारा रीट के आयोजन से संबंधित तैयारियां पूरी रखने के निर्देश दिए गए हैं।

निर्देशों में कहा गया है कि अधिकारी पारदॢशता अपनाते हुए इस प्रकार से तैयारी रखें कि बाद में भर्ती में किसी प्रकार की बाधा उत्पन्न नहीं हो। देवनानी ने बताया कि ऐसी उम्मीद है कि आगामी महीने तक परीक्षाओं के आयोजन से संबंधित प्रक्रियाओं को पूर्ण कर लिया जाएगा।
